The 4th IPS will be held in conjunction with the 98th Annual Meeting of USCAP on March 7, 2009 at John B. Hynes Convention Center, Boston, MA

Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Room: SH Republic B

Format:

1. Scientific presentation:

A. Open section.

B. Committee’s choice (topics to be announced).

2. "What is Hot" preview of the up-coming USCAP meeting.

3. Chair’s Podium, Controversy in Pathology (topic and speakers to be announced)

Participants: All CAPA members are encouraged to participate. Currently there is an open invitation for volunteer to speak in the scientific presentation and preview the up-coming USCAP meeting "(What is Hot)".

All non-CAPA members are welcome regardless of their ethnic background.

Atmosphere: Free spirit, open-minded, respectful, collegial, collaborative, and highly intellectual.

What one can accomplish:

A. To meet pathologists at all levels in CAPA community across the nation from various academic institutions; a great place to seek fresh idea, collaboration opportunity, inspiration and establishment of social networking in academic field. It is also safe and supportive place to express your opinion and idea (no mater what it might be).

B. To get a quick start of your USCAP meeting by attending "What is Hot" to make you more effective in getting the new trends and covering all areas you might be interested in during the meeting.

C. A great opportunity to enrich your academic credential for members who are in training and interested in academic career and members who are currently in academic institution.

Registration: In order to cover the cost, a registration fee of no more than $100.00 per person (final amount to be determined) will be collected at time of the meeting for practicing pathologists. The meeting is free for residents and fellows.
